ADOLPHE SAX NIGHT - JORDI'S TRIO & SAXONEO

A special night to celebrate the saxophone, born in Belgium and now embraced worldwide. A musical journey from the flatlands to Colombia, where the instrument has taken root in cultures across the globe, reflecting the diversity of Sounds. 🎷🌍 Jordi's Trio is back at Sounds jazz Club for an evening of acoustic music, interplay and moods suited for a cozy Friday evening.  The band's connection and long-term collaboration allows a fresh approach to form and repertoire, creating textures & melodies organically. Expect own personal pieces and who knows, a few originals?  Open your ears to the generous, free-spirited and contagious sounds of the Jordi Grognard Trio!  For this evening at Sounds regular drummer Gaspard Sicx will be replaced by the portuguese maverick Joao Lobo! SaXoneo” began as a saxophone quintet, which has gradually transformed into a tropical Saxophone Band. With the magic sounds of the saxaphone), this is broken into various musical genres, (Salsa, Bachata, Son Cubano, Guajiras, montunos, always based on Colombian music (Porro, Cumbia, Vallenato, Puya, Currulao, Pasillo among others). Currently, we have the participation of great Master of Music in Colombia and different nationalities, who with their knowledge and experience contributed by adding their grain of sand for the initiation of this important project, always inspired by Master ALAIN CREPIN (Former Principal Saxophone Professor at the Conservatory Royal-Brussels Belgium) Therefore, our purpose from the start of this project is: • To contribute to the social and cultural improvement for the integral development of human being. • To generate optimal conditions for elite artists to improve their living conditions. • To bring the population closer to enjoying the most sublime fruits of human mind and providing enormous conditions for the transformation and overcoming of being, understanding that culture functions as a living organism in a society. • Promote, through "Saxophone", the development of aesthetic sensitivity, and the appreciation of their own daily life by listening to traditional music. This project which has the magic of transforming notes into sensitivity, making people vibrate in each concert, letting themselves be seduced by the sonority of the saxophone.
