Complementing her passion for modal jazz, French saxophonist Ornella Noulet also devotes herself with enthusiasm and dedication to free improvisation and sound research. Playing the saxophone since she was seven years old and having spent more than fithteen years in conservatories (in Paris and Brussels). She is currently based in Brussels and is evolving with musicians from Ola Tunji band. She is also working in duo with the drummer Egon Wolfson (they recorded an album last summer 2024). In 2023, she shared the stage with artists like Farida Amadou & Moor Mother at AB, as well as Han Bennink, Terrie Ex at the Summer Bummer Festival. In the autumn 2024, her first solo album "Promise of Faithfulness" was released on the label Relative Pitch Records. . Following the concert, the evening continues with an open Jazz Jam Session! All musicians are warmly invited to bring their instruments and join in.
