Milan Verbist (\u00b01999) is a young jazz pianist from Antwerp, Belgium. He studied at
\nDe! Kunsthumaniora and the Royal Conservatoire, both in Antwerp. His playing is enriched by the influences of many musicians he listens to and appreciates, including pianists McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock, Marcin Wasilewski, Wynton Kelly, Bobo Stenson, Don Pullen… In 2023, Milan was selected to be part of ‘De Twintigers 2023’, a selection of ten young, promising musicians, made by Radio Klara. Milan surrounds himself with a rhythm section consisting of Toon Rumen (\u00b02001, BE) on double bass and Jens Meijer (\u00b01996, NL) on drums.
