\u00a0<\/span>Orito Cantora et Jenn del Tambo forment un duo explosif de rythmes traditionnels cara\u00efb\u00e9en et colombien, tels que la cumbia, la chalupa, le garabato, le mapal\u00e9 et le bullerenque, qui est utilis\u00e9s comme moyen d’\u00e9mancipation des femmes.<\/p>\n

Dans leur spectacle, elles interpr\u00e8tent des chansons traditionnelles de la c\u00f4te nord de la Colombie, ainsi que des chansons in\u00e9dites n\u00e9es de l’inspiration d’Orito Cantora. Pendant une pr\u00e9sentation de 60 minutes, Orito chante et joue des percussions mineures comme les maracas, la quache, les tablitas et la guacharaca, tandis que Jennn joue les trois principales percussions vernaculaires de cette musique folklorique : lamador, tambora et alegre. Ayant soigneusement \u00e9tudi\u00e9 et interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 ces rythmes indig\u00e8nes, elles sont capables de faire \u00e0 quatre mains ce qui est fait par un groupe entier.<\/p>\n

Le duo, apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 des interpr\u00e8tes et des chercheuses de la musique traditionnelle pendant plus de 18 ans, apr\u00e8s avoir fait plusieurs tourn\u00e9es dans le monde entier, elles embrassent une nouvelle entreprise : l’autonomisation des femmes et l’\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur fondation Red de Tamboreras. Depuis 2016, elles promeuvent leurs connaissances \u00e0 travers des conf\u00e9rences et des ateliers de percussion et de chants traditionnels, en mettant toujours en avant la vision des femmes et le tambour comme \u00e9l\u00e9ment de r\u00e9paration, car comme le dit la devise de leur fondation : \u00ab\u00a0La seule peau qui doit \u00eatre battue est le cuir du tambour\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
